B Team promoted to division 2.

The Men’s B team have secured back to back promotions and will play division 2 tennis next season. 3rd placed Sandal could have pipped them to promotion if results went the other way but a last match victory against Grove (11-7) was enough to secure second spot behind Huddersfield B.

The B team will now play in the same division as the A team for the first time in a number of years.

In contrast, the ladies team saw relegation from division 1 confirmed after losing their last match 10-4 to Thongsbridge.

The Men’s A team finshed off the season with a 9-3 defeat to Oakes. With the C team already promoted and the last match a formality, it was still tough to take a 12-0 defeat away to Leeds Legends.
