May’s League roundup.

Mixed fortunes for our teams yet again in the first full month of the league season. Despite some close-run battles in the first four matches, the Ladies team are yet to record a victory.

It’s also been a tough start to the campaign for the Men’s A team; not helped by the fixture list pitting them against the top four teams in their first four matches. They were unlucky not to get something from their recent match against Hudds A, eventually losing 10-7.

Following last season’s promotion to Division 3, the Men’s B team have four wins from four matches - but not without a little help. Having lost their opening match to Huddersfield B (1-12), the result has since been reversed due to Huddersfield’s A team fielding an ineligible player, which also affects their B and C team results.

The C team are aiming to bounce straight back following last season’s relegation and have made a great start, winning 2 of their 3 matches so far.
